Ingredients:

Cake:
– 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
– 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
– 4 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 2 cups finely grated carrots
– 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Maple Glaze:
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
– 2-3 tablespoons milk (adjust for desired consistency)
– 1/4 cup chopped pecans for garnish
