
cucumber salmon bites with 200 g double cream cheese!
Preparation
This is how it works First, stir the double cream cheese until smooth. Then cut the smoked salmon into small cubes and add to the cheese together with quark, salad mayonnaise (e.g. Miracle Whip), lemon juice, chives, chopped parsley and fresh thyme leaves (preferably lemon thyme).
Now stir in, season with salt and pepper and mix for a minute with the hand mixer until creamy.
Then wash the cucumber thoroughly and cut into thick slices. Then put a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture on each cucumber slice and garnish with fresh dill, chives or small diced peppers.
Our tips: The cheese and salmon mixture can be prepared the day before.
But only cut and decorate the cucumber shortly before serving, otherwise the cucumber slices will dry out too much.
This cheese and salmon mixture also tastes delicious as a spread on bread.
