Pineapple margaritas are a refreshing and tropical twist on the classic margarita cocktail, combining the sweet and tangy flavors of pineapple with the zing of lime and the kick of tequila. Here’s a recipe to make this delightful drink:

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (or canned pineapple chunks, drained)
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar, for rimming glasses (optional)
  • Lime wedges and pineapple slices, for garnish

  1. If desired, rim the glasses with salt or sugar: Pour a small amount of lime juice onto a shallow plate. Dip the rim of each glass into the lime juice, then dip into salt or sugar to coat. Set aside to dry while preparing the margaritas.
  2. In a blender, combine the fresh pineapple chunks (or canned pineapple chunks), pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup or simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add the tequila and triple sec or orange liqueur to the blender. Blend again until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more agave syrup, lime juice, or pineapple juice as needed.
  5. Fill each rimmed glass with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the pineapple margarita mixture into the glasses over the ice.
  7. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and a slice of pineapple.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing and tropical flavors of pineapple margaritas!

Feel free to get creative with your garnishes by adding fresh mint leaves, jalapeƱo slices for a spicy kick, or even a splash of coconut cream for a creamy twist. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or hosting a summer party, pineapple margaritas are sure to be a hit with your guests. Cheers!
