Cranberry Jello Salad With Coolwhip

Ingredients

  • 20 oz crushed pineapple
  • water
  • 3 oz raspberry jello
  • 3 oz strawberry jello
  • 16 oz cranberry sauce
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 8 oz whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Drain the pineapple, reserving the juice
  2. Add enough water to the juice to make 2 1/2 cups total liquid
  3. In a medium saucepan, bring the pineapple juice mixture to a boil over high heat
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and add the jello powder from both packets, whisking until completely dissolved
  5. Stir in the crushed pineapple, cranberry sauce, and chopped apples until well combined
  6. Spoon into baking cups or dessert dishes, filling most of the way
  7. Refrigerate for at least three hours, until the jello has set
  8. Serve cold and top with whipped topping
