Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the fudge sauce, then drizzle the remaining fudge sauce on top.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
