Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge is a quick and easy recipe for making delicious fudge in no time. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare a square baking dish (8×8 inches) by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it lightly with butter.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Microwave the mixture on high for 1 minute to melt the ingredients. Stir well.
  4. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and all the chocolate chips are melted. Be careful not to overheat the mixture.
  5. Once the mixture is smooth, stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts (if using), ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
  7. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until set.
  8. Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper edges or cut it into squares directly in the pan.
  9. Serve and enjoy your quick and delicious homemade fudge!

Note: You can customize this fudge recipe by adding different mix-ins such as dried fruits, marshmallows, or candies. Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
