  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • Whipped cream or whipped topping, for serving
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)


  1. Prepare Ingredients: Slice the ripe bananas and drain the crushed pineapple well, pressing out excess liquid.
  2. Make Pudding Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Add Sour Cream and Vanilla: Stir in the sour cream (or Greek yogurt) and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Assemble Dessert: In a large serving bowl or dish, layer half of the sliced bananas and crushed pineapple. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the fruit.
