What you need:



  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 4-6 slices of ham
  • 4-6 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite)
  • Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water)


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. If desired, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard evenly over the puff pastry sheet.
  4. Layer the ham slices evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.

  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and puffed up.
