  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 large potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup grated cheese

  • Prior to cooking, set your oven to the appropriate temperature by preheating it to 400°F (200°C).
  • Next, wash and dry the potatoes, and slice them into thin pieces while leaving the bottom uncut.
  • Using a small saucepan, melt the butter and combine it with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • With a brush, spread the garlic butter mixture over the potatoes, being certain to cover every slice and space between them.
  • Arrange the potatoes in a baking dish and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes or until they become both tender and crispy.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese onto the potatoes and bake them for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and has formed a golden brown crust
  • Just before serving, add a pop of green color and fresh flavor to your dish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
