Instructions:

    • Stir in the milk or heavy cream for a richer sauce.
    • Add the dried sage and thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Continue to simmer the sauce for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken to your desired consistency.
  6. Serve:
